There she goes
If I’m going to stick with what I’ve said in the last post. Then we already have two cases related to Kumiko’s past solved by the 10th episode. The first case was Kumiko felt bad about Reina, though she doesn’t think she was at the wrong side, she keep dragging the fact that she is troubled with it. Turns out it was just her thinking too much, and on the other hand, she actually got Reina attracted to her.

The second case was revealed just now, Kumiko has this episode where she being scapegoated by her senior. That’s why she feels troubled now since Natsuki doesn’t pass the audition. She totally thought Natsuki will spit on her.

Again this is just Kumiko worrying too much. Natsuki invited her for a talk and laughing it off. She knew Kumiko troubled with the audition result, but Natsuki has just playing eupho for 1 year and she knows it’s obvious that she wont make it. She rather thankful for Kumiko, that she can improve her playing and enjoying it a bit better.

Now here be spoilers
The third case is, I believe, related to Kumiko being indifferent towards Shuuichi. Kumiko said it at the first ep, that she wont talk to Shuuichi thanks to him yelling for Kumiko not to talk to him and called her ugly back then at middle school. Of course it’s obvious Shuuichi didn’t meant it, and just blurted it out of embarassment. After all, Kumiko asked whether he will have a dinner at her home as usual or not. Not sure if I find this cute or to feel annoyed toward Shuuichi <_<
.
Anyway it’s obvious that Shuuichi likes Kumiko, but how about Kumiko herself?
Now back to the story, people started to find out about Taki-sensei, that apparently he is an acquaintance of Reina’s father. Which make other speculating that Taki-sensei certainly playing favorites at the audition. Goes as far as saying that the audition is a setup to make Reina as the solo player no matter what.

This conflict somewhat looks cute rather than dramatic. Reina response at the corridor when she was losing her cool is refreshing, she act like a normal teenager afterall. Kumiko who thought Reina seems to be depressed giggled, didn’t expected to see this side of Reina.
And that haggu scene.
I guess this is how the story shows how Reina needs someone to lean. She ensures Kumiko is on her side.

And here we have Reina reveals everything. It is true all along that she joined Kitauji because she knew Taki sensei will be advising the club. I’m more interested on how Kumiko react though, that annoying smile when Reina complains about the club members is priceless.

I know it goes without saying that the whole story is revolved around Kumiko, but not a bit I realized Asuka act differently towards her. That’s why it’s fun when everyone on the bass part agree on that and asked her to ask Asuka. Hazuki even jokingly calls her miss Ambassador for that. Kumiko feels she is just being tricked though.

Asuka sure is one hell of a girl. Kumiko asked her opinions about the audition, and who fits better to play the solo part. She’s a bit reluctant at first but then said coldly, she doesn’t really give a damn about who plays the solo part.

This is probably a bit confusing for Kumiko, but we already know Asuka is the neutral type. So yeah, she wont take either side on this case, even if it is her own friend. Still I’m fascinated by that cold expression of her.

I’m not sure how to think about Kaori. I guess she’s just can’t accept that she can’t do any better. I believe she’s honest when she said she already accept the decision about the solo part. But like Asuka said, she’s trying to prove herself. Pretty sure it takes all her courage to rise her hand when Taki-sensei offered second audition, it feels like she took that as a challenge and asked Reina for a duel directly.

This week is a total intense. The conflict is heating up and we only have 2 more episodes or so. I expect more episodes, probably another season by next winter? fingercrossing. But maybe not.
