Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card 1

Cardcaptor Sakura always has this special slot in my favorite list. It’s always been fun and heartwarming, and I especially enjoy when people talking about the series.

I was wondering if Sakura was actually everyone’s first crush. I indeed liked her when I was little, so having CLAMP bringing her back (moreover after that dark-edgy Tsubasa Chronicle) is very much welcomed.

Since this is pretty much a continuation of the original manga, it feels like all the events at the second movie wasn’t actually happened. Though probably that’s not the case.

Actually I was assumming the clear card will be just a single card astray. Apparently I was wrong. This is practically repeating the usual cardcaptor arc pattern, though I wont complaint, the whole cuteness in the series is enough for me to stick in.

Tomoyo sure is lovely as ever, also I like how they give particular attention into her hair style.

Also Chiharu getting a lot more cute isn’t she?

This dragon scene sure is curious, the diamond(?) pattern just looks like the pattern on Sakura costume at the opening, also I was imagining the one under the hood is actually Sakura herself. Sure CLAMP already reveal who it is in the manga, I don’t know though, I haven’t read the manga version.

Oh, and the ending sequence is awesome. It has different animation style, a bit more simplistic, but feels really fun!
